In the precision shooting world, a popular accessory is the ARCA rail, a sliding handguard that allows users to mount bipods, barricade stops, and other accessories for quick and easy adjustments. However, Area 419 identified a flaw with the friction lock system, nothing that it can slide under pressure. To address this, they developed the ARCALock Universal Flat Rail, which resolves this issue while maintaining the benefits of the ARCA mechanism. 

Each Area 419 ARCALock Universal Flat Rail features a proprietary clamp design that mechanically locks the serrated sides of the rail in place, ensuring stability. This unit is backwards-compatible with all standard ARCA-style accessories. Additionally, all edges and corners are rounded to prevent any snagging or cutting. The entire unit is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with Type 3 hard-coat anodizing for durability. Originally designed with the Manners Composite Stock in mind, the ARCALock Universal Flat Rail is versatile enough to be used with various stocks that have an accessible front-action screw or front-attachment point.
